Fraternity
Solutions Group's website was a database-driven site that was created using
UserLand's Frontier and Manila content-management solutions. Although the
site was too small to require such a solution, it exposed me to UserLand's
capabilities and services.
Within my first few months of employment, I redesigned the department's website by making only a few changes to UserLand's document template and Cascading Style Sheets. I also added a few pages for self-promotion and web development.
For an experienced developer, a content management solution such as UserLand's Frontier and Manila would be a useful service to have. For such a small site, however, its services were excessive and inevitably lengthened the development time.
