On monday, I ate solo at Church's Chicken. Most of the staff took the day off since we worked at conferences over the weekend. Today we go bowling as a reward.
A quick meal at Burger King while in transit to Valpraiso was all I had time for today.
I'm really excited about the possible impact of Third Goal, the free blogging website I launched for Peace Corps volunteers yesterday.
Third Goal already has 10 subscribers, two of whom have made posts. This could grow fast.
In the past two weeks, I've launched several websites. Here's a quick summary.
North American Interfraternal Foundation
Description: The North American Interfraternal Foundation exists to promote and support leadership, educational, and research initiatives that advance the North American college fraternal experience by giving scholarships, grants and recognition.
Tools: I coded most of this one by hand. I'm am using the handy FormMail PHP script to help me process those lengthy applications.
Third Goal
Description: Third Goal provides Peace Corps volunteers an easy and independent way to promote a better understanding of other peoples on the part of all Americans. Peace Corps volunteers may register for a free blog and online journal.
Tools: WordPress is the CRM that drives the site.
Kip Zurcher
Description: A blog for boss and friend Kip Zurcher. Kip is wanting to use a blog to communicate with the board and other audiences.
Tools: WordPress is the CRM that drives the site.
Kipedia
Description: A wiki for boss and friend Kip Zurcher. The wiki may be used by many to flesh out ideas and projects.
Tools: MediaWiki is the wiki that drives the site.
Frankly, I'm most excited about Third Goal. I created the site to provide Peace Corps volunteers a free, easy, and independent way to share their stories with the rest of the world; something I was deprived of doing when I was a volunteer.
By offering a consolidated venue for all Peace Corps volunteers, the public receives a concentrated resource of first-person experiences from worlds very different than their own and the volunteers receive protection in numbers. If the site grows to 50, 100, or even 1,000 users; is the Peace Corps going to kick them all out?
Actually, I think the Peace Corps has eased up on its policy of stripping its volunteers of their First Amendment rights. Though I still receive several emails and phone calls a month about Peace Corps issues from volunteers and parents, it's been a long time since someone has reported conflicts with website content, email, or blogs.
Now that Third Goal is built, only time will tell if volunteers will come and use it.
Joe and I had lunch at Applebee's. tomorrow, I head north to a Lambda Chi Alpha conference in Valpraiso.
Five of us went to Bob Evans. I learned they will be building a Cracker Barrel next door. Sweet (tea).
Joe and I ate at Original Pancake House. We often order the same thing. Today was eggs benedict. Who was Mr. Benedict anyway?
My "No Repeat Lunch Week" continues. So far, I have gone four weeks without eating lunch at the same Restaurant twice; with the exception of the Orlando Wyndham during a Lambda Chi Alpha conference.
There are still plenty of available restaurants in the area. The problem for me is remembering which ones I've already visited since I begun this project. So, without further delay, here are two lists to help me and my co-workers reference.

Joe, Shane, and I tried Chi-Dogs and More today. It's a small building with no place to sit. But they serve good hot dogs. Too bad they charge Chicago prices.
Though Joe and I didn't eat the entire Pizza Hut buffet, it sure felt like it. You know, I once was a Pizza Hut delivery boy.
It's time to spread the love.
I forgot to take a picture, but Joe and I ate at Max and Erma's. I had chicken cordon blue.
My daily commute via Goolge's new maps.google.com service.
I launched a cleaner, XHTML/CSS friendly redesign of the North American Interfraternal Foundation's website yesterday. I still have a lot of work to do in rebuilding their online applications. In the meantime, users will rely on their PDF applications.
I'm back from Orlando. Today I ate at Midday Deli with my friends Raena and Beth from Zeta Tau Alpha.
Here's a list of some useful HTML character entities. I'm trying to use the four quote symbols more often.

Had a quick lunch brought to me by the hotel. Though it's a Whndham meal, it wasn't from one of their resturants.
Arrived at the Orland airport for a Lambda Chi Alpha conference and Grand High Zeta (board) meeting. Though I'm still going to try to eat at a new resturant everyday for lunch, I won't be able to for I have a few hotel meals I will have to attend.
