Have you ever IMed "smarterchild"? He/it seems to know it all.
I forgot to mention, my layover is in Detroit. I even found a sushi bar. Besides Asain airports, where else can you recall seeing a sushi bar in an airport?
This is a fantastic airport. I can't believe I haven't visited this airport since they opened the new terminal. This is a photo of a cool fountain in terminal A.

Today's lunch was another CFEA lunch, except it was for the techies. About 15 folks came. We talked about websites, networks, spam, and servers. I hope to organize more of these.

I think the guys are buying into my quest to eat at a different resturant every day. O'Charlies was today' selection. Joe, Shane, and John H. joined me.
I went to the dentist today. After 32-years, I am still cavity free.

Looks like Raleigh, NC (home) got hit by a surprise snow storm. My favorite quote from this news story is this one:
"In Raleigh, a mere inch of snow was all it took to cripple North Carolina's capital..."So true. Heck, I remember they used to cancel school and the prediction of snow.
Joe, Shane, and I ate at Texas Roadhouse Grill today. During the week, they are open for lunch only on Fridays.

Today's lunch was at Bravo. And instead of eating with the guys from the office, I had lunch with Indy-based members of CFEA. I ordered a huge plate of lasagna and ate it all.

I eat out every day for lunch and am getting tired of eating at the same 10 places. Starting today, I'm going to try to see how long I can convince my co-workers to eat at a different resturant each day. I'm gussing two weeks, tops. Today I ate at Long John Silvers.
This weekend, I bought myself a mountain bike. The bike has front and rear shocks that look really cool. I won't need them much, since I live in flat Indiana. But they look really cool.

I heard an interesting NPR story this week regarding how the world's major faiths were affected by the tsunami. It focused on how different religions reconcile human suffering with the idea of a caring God. The story featured views and opinions from Muslims, Buddhists, Hindus, Jews, and Christians.
The story's global perspective on religion made me wonder what are the most popular religions in the world; so I looked it up.
- 19.67% Muslims
- 17.28% Roman Catholics (Christian)
- 13.28% Hindus
- 13.05% Other religions
- 12.43% Non-religious
- 5.84% Buddhists
- 5.61% Protestants (Christian)
- 3.49% Orthodox (Christian)
- 2.41% Atheists
- 1.31% Anglicans (Christian)
- 0.38% Sikhs
- 0.23% Jews
With so many religions and so many difference, one has to ask, "If someone was never exposed to religion and wanted to adopt a religions belief, how should they go about making such a decision?"
The story also made me wonder exactly how many different religions are there.
